Meet The Team
Zeke Ashton
Zeke Ashton has over two decades of experience as a portfolio manager. Zeke founded Centaur Capital Partners in 2002 and managed the Centaur Value Fund from 2002-2018. He also managed a retail mutual fund from 2005 until 2018. After winding down Centaur Capital in 2018, Zeke taught value investing courses at the University of Alabama. Zeke returned to investment management with the launch of Ashton Capital in January 2024.
Nick Parsons
Nick Parsons joined Ashton Capital at inception as an investment analyst. Nick graduated from the University of Alabama in 2022 with a degree in Economics and Finance. At UA, Nick served as the Portfolio Manager to the Culverhouse Investment Management Group. During his college years, Nick interned at Scout Energy Partners, Banyan Capital Management, Fund Evaluation Group, and Point72 Asset Management.
